Image Description
Natural conditions in Montenegro are characterised by large hilly and mountainous areas with distinctive relief and only small areas of lowland. Agriculture continues to be important for Montenegro’s rural economy, providing an important source of employment, income generation and food security particularly in the mountainous north, where there are only few other opportunities to generate income.
